How to request deletion

Open Settings > Account and choose Delete account, then type DELETE to confirm. If you are on the waitlist, open your profile in the waitlist portal and choose Delete account there. Either way the deletion takes effect immediately and cannot be undone. If you come back later, signing in with the same email, Google or Apple account starts a new account.

If you can't sign in, or your request is about data shared with Foundable through a connected service, such as a social account you linked to Run, email privacy@foundable.com from the email address associated with your Foundable account. Include the service and any account, page or workspace identifier you can see in that service. We will use that information only to find and process the deletion request.

Connected services and Stripe

Disconnecting a social account from Run, your Stripe account from Build > Tools > Payments, or an app from Settings > Integrations ends Foundable's access to it. The provider that holds the connection keeps its own records under its own terms. You can also remove Foundable's access to a Google or Microsoft app in your Google or Microsoft account's security settings. Foundable does not keep what Ted reads from a Google or Microsoft app after the reply in which he reads it; what Ted makes from it, such as his reply or a draft, stays with your foundable and is deleted with it.

Disconnecting a website in Settings > Integrations revokes its saved sign-in cookies and queues any live remote browsers for closure. The same happens when the person who connected it leaves the foundable or loses their owner or admin role. Temporary page state can remain in the remote browser until it closes or expires; finishing a reply does not clear it. We do not save raw page snapshots in our database, service logs, workflow history or records of Ted’s work. Website content Ted includes in his replies or inputs to tools remains part of his work and follows the retention rules in our Privacy Policy.

Deleting your Foundable account ends your paid plan at once and deletes your customer record at Stripe, with the payment details saved on it. Stripe keeps its records of your Foundable purchases, and of a Stripe account you own for Foundable Payments, under its own privacy terms; use Stripe's own controls for a Stripe account you own, and see our Privacy Policy for the billing records Foundable itself must keep.

What we delete

When you delete your account, it stops working everywhere at once, and we erase it right away:

  • Your paid plan ends immediately. The rest of the current billing period is not refunded, as our Refund Policy says, and your customer record at Stripe is deleted.
  • Every foundable you own is deleted, as Delete foundable deletes one: its websites go offline, its mailbox and linked social accounts are closed at their providers, its website backends are released and all its content is erased.
  • A domain you bought through Foundable stops renewing: it stays registered until the end of the year already paid for, then lapses.
  • Your waitlist place, gifts and chats with Ted, your profile (name, photo, contact details, time zone and notification choices) and your preferences are deleted, and the network address and browser recorded when you accepted our policies are cleared.
  • Your sign-in record at WorkOS, our sign-in provider, is deleted within minutes, once your logout has gone through, which ends every signed-in session.

We keep a record that the account existed and when it was deleted, with no personal details, your acceptance of our policies, and the payment and credit records the law requires us to keep (amounts and identifiers, without your profile). Conversations with our support team in Intercom are not deleted with the account; email privacy@foundable.com and we coordinate their deletion with Intercom.

Timing

Account deletion disables access immediately and is final: we cannot restore a deleted account or its foundables. The erasure itself usually completes within minutes, and the copies our providers hold are deleted or asked for deletion as it runs; each provider then follows its own schedule. Financial and other legally retained records follow their legal schedules, and database backups expire under the 14-day rotation described in our Privacy Policy.

We may retain limited records where required for security, fraud prevention, accounting, tax, dispute handling, or legal compliance.

Verification and follow-up

We may ask you to verify control of the email address or account before processing a deletion request sent by email, and we respond to it by email with intake or completion information. Deleting your account in the product logs you out and shows when the deletion is complete; it does not send a separate email.
